Renaissance New Richmond invites you to the Ohio River Sweep 2024, a crucial community event to clean up the Ohio River. This annual cleanup involves volunteers from six states working together to make a positive environmental impact.
🗓 Date: Saturday, June 22, 2024
🕘 Time: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
📍 Meeting Point: The riverfront bandstand, New Richmond
Open to adults and older teens, this event will involve getting wet and dirty. Please bring a water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes, and clothes that can get dirty. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
To join, fill out the Registration Form at www.springlittercleanup.com and complete the Volunteer Waiver at www.orsanco.org/river-sweep/volunteer-waiver/. Your participation will help keep our Ohio River clean and beautiful.
Since 1989, the Ohio River Sweep has been organized by ORSANCO, FORE, and environmental agencies from Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Let’s work together to make a difference! 🌿💧

Join VFW District 4 and VFW Fred Calaway Post 6770 in celebrating VFW Day of Service and Loyalty Day May 4th 2024.
9:00am - 12:00pm: VFW Post 6770 Day of Service
Community Service event. This year's event will be cleaning and beautification of veteran's graves at Greenmound Cemetery in New Richmond Ohio.
12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch
VFW 6770 Auxiliary will provide lunch at the post.
1:00pm - 2:00pm: Loyalty Day Observance

Classical Strings & Joyous Voices:
Come join us on Saturday December 2nd at 4:30 PM at the historic & beautiful Cranston Memorial Church in the village of New Richmond, Ohio for a wonderful holiday program. This event brings together advanced classical music students from the University of Cincinnati's famed College Conservatory of Music and New Richmond High School's award winning Fomatta Nowhere vocal group.
The church, famous for its historical importance in the underground/abolitionist movement, its beauty and acoustical excellence is located at the corner of Union Street & Washington Streets in New Richmond.
This event is sponsored by Renaissance New Richmond Inc. Admission is free with donations warmly appreciated.
The event is a part of a full day gala village Christmas festival in New Richmond (2pm till 7 pm) that includes horse and carriage rides, crafters, food trucks, Christmas parade, Santa & Mrs. Claus, a tree lighting. and more.

Join us on Saturday, December 2nd at 3pm for an enchanting evening filled with songs, thrilling prizes, silent auctions, a lively human jukebox, an epic ugly sweater contest, a variety of raffle baskets, and split the pot! Last year was a tremendous success, and this year, we're counting on your support to make it even more unforgettable.
